Description:
SS3 GF is a glass flake reinforced two component epoxy coating. The product is a self-priming, two coat system and is very easy to apply with standard airless equipment. It has a very convenient 2-hour pot life lowering the risk of damaging application equipment. The product has an outstanding corrosion resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, solvents, and salt solutions. Surely the SS3 GF is cost effective beyond compare.

SO411 SS3-GF is available in 4liter and 10liter kits. The kits consist of two components (Component A and Component B) each with the same volume.
Chemical resistance:

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS AND TEMPERATURES:
Preparation:
Clean blasted steel substrate to a SA 2½ specification (70 to 80μm profile) is recommended. If abrasive blasting is not allowed alternative preparation methods e.g. St 2 is acceptable but not in immersed conditions.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
Premix:
The B component GF to be stirred mechanically separately for 5 minutes before mixing together.
The A component GF is different from the normal Component A used for SO411 SS3 as it has the glass flakes added. It is therefore important that Component A GF must be stirred mechanically separately until the glass flakes is suspended in the liquid before mixing it with component B GF. When the glass flakes is in suspension after stirring component A GF must be added within a minute to component B GF as the glass flakes quickly settles in component A GF.
Mixing:
Mix both A and B components to a 1:1 ratio by volume mechanically during the induction time of 30 minutes.
